Asphalt paving is the process of installing hot, warm or cold mix asphalt as a pavement. Multiple layers of asphalt, or “lifts”, may be installed to handle different weight bearing loads. If properly installed, asphalt can have a life span of twenty to thirty years, making it one of the best options for most paved surfaces.
